The employer is looking for an Environmental Engineer in Overland Park, KS. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced environmental engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Overland Park location.
What you’ll do
- Advise clients on environmental regulations
- Prepare air, water and waste permit applications
- Write compliance reports for state and federal agencies
- Collect and interpret soil, groundwater and air samples
- Plan and run site investigations and remediation projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of EPA and state environmental regulations
- Field sampling experience
- Strong technical writing
Nice to have
- Experience with PFAS investigation or treatment
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Overland Park, KS is $76,000 – $97,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
