Environmental Engineer Intern

As an Environmental Engineer Intern with the employer, you will gain hands-on experience and help shape how the environmental engineering team works. This position is based in Miami, FL. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is on site at our Miami location.
What you’ll do
- Prepare air, water and waste permit applications
- Collect and interpret soil, groundwater and air samples
- Write compliance reports for state and federal agencies
- Plan and run site investigations and remediation projects
- Advise clients on environmental regulations
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering
- Strong technical writing
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (or able to obtain)
- Knowledge of EPA and state environmental regulations
Nice to have
- Experience with PFAS investigation or treatment
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Miami, FL is $22 – $26 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
