Environmental Engineer Intern

We are hiring an Environmental Engineer Intern to join our environmental engineering team in Clarksville. You will gain hands-on experience on projects that matter to our customers. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Clarksville office.
What you’ll do
- Write compliance reports for state and federal agencies
- Prepare air, water and waste permit applications
- Collect and interpret soil, groundwater and air samples
- Advise clients on environmental regulations
- Plan and run site investigations and remediation projects
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering
- Field sampling experience
- Knowledge of EPA and state environmental regulations
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (or able to obtain)
Nice to have
- Experience with PFAS investigation or treatment
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Clarksville, TN is $22 – $26 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
