The employer is a regional electric utility serving residential, commercial and industrial customers.
We are hiring an Energy Engineer to join our energy engineering team in Visalia. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Visalia office.
What you’ll do
- Model energy-saving measures and calculate payback
- Write reports and present results to clients
- Design solar PV and battery storage systems
- Run measurement and verification of completed projects
- Conduct energy audits of commercial and industrial facilities
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills
- Knowledge of building systems and energy efficiency
- Client-facing communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with incentive programs
- CEM or PE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Visalia, CA is $100,000 – $127,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
