The employer is looking for an Energy Engineer in Lexington, KY. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced energy engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Lexington location.
What you’ll do
- Conduct energy audits of commercial and industrial facilities
- Model energy-saving measures and calculate payback
- Run measurement and verification of completed projects
- Design solar PV and battery storage systems
- Write reports and present results to clients
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Client-facing communication skills
- Knowledge of building systems and energy efficiency
- Strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills
Nice to have
- Experience with incentive programs
- CEM or PE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Lexington, KY is $84,000 – $107,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
