As an Energy Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the energy engineering team works. This position is based in Clearwater, FL. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Clearwater location.
What you’ll do
- Conduct energy audits of commercial and industrial facilities
- Design solar PV and battery storage systems
- Model energy-saving measures and calculate payback
- Run measurement and verification of completed projects
- Write reports and present results to clients
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Client-facing communication skills
- Experience with energy modeling tools
- Knowledge of building systems and energy efficiency
Nice to have
- Experience with incentive programs
- CEM or PE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Clearwater, FL is $83,000 – $106,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
