As an Embedded Software Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the electrical & computer engineering team works. This position is based in Meridian, ID. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Meridian office.
What you’ll do
- Debug at the board level with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and JTAG
- Write unit and hardware-in-the-loop tests
- Bring up new hardware with the electrical engineering team
- Write device drivers for sensors, communication buses and peripherals
- Develop firmware in C and C++ for microcontroller-based products
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with an RTOS or bare-metal firmware
- Strong C programming skills for resource-constrained systems
- Hands-on lab debugging experience
Nice to have
- Experience in a regulated industry (medical, automotive, aerospace)
- Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy or other wireless stacks
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Meridian, ID is $111,000 – $141,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
