The employer is a semiconductor company designing mixed-signal chips for industrial and automotive markets.
Our Tallahassee office is growing, and we need an Electrical Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative electrical & computer engineering group and report to the electrical & computer engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Tallahassee location.
What you’ll do
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
- Design analog, digital and power circuits for new products
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
Nice to have
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Tallahassee, FL is $90,000 – $115,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
