We are hiring an Electrical Engineer to join our electrical & computer engineering team in San Diego. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our San Diego office.
What you’ll do
- Simulate circuits and perform worst-case analysis
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
- Design analog, digital and power circuits for new products
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
Nice to have
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in San Diego, CA is $114,000 – $145,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
