The employer is looking for an Electrical Engineer in New York, NY. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced electrical & computer engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our New York location.
What you’ll do
- Simulate circuits and perform worst-case analysis
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment
Nice to have
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $125,000 – $159,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
