Electrical Engineer Intern

As an Electrical Engineer Intern with the employer, you will gain hands-on experience and help shape how the electrical & computer engineering team works. This position is based in Milwaukee, WI. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is on site at our Milwaukee location.
What you’ll do
- Simulate circuits and perform worst-case analysis
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
- Design analog, digital and power circuits for new products
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets
Nice to have
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Milwaukee, WI is $25 – $29 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
