We are hiring an Electrical Engineer to join our electrical & computer engineering team in Chicago. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Chicago office.
What you’ll do
- Simulate circuits and perform worst-case analysis
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Design analog, digital and power circuits for new products
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets
Nice to have
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Chicago, IL is $101,000 – $129,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
