Our Winston-Salem office is growing, and we need a DevOps Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Winston-Salem location.
What you’ll do
- Take part in an on-call rotation and lead incident reviews
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that let teams ship safely several times a day
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling and cost control
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider
- Experience running containerized workloads in production
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills
Nice to have
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
- Experience with service meshes
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Winston-Salem, NC is $116,000 – $148,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
