Our St. Petersburg office is growing, and we need a DevOps Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our St. Petersburg office.
What you’ll do
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Harden infrastructure and automate security patching
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that let teams ship safely several times a day
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling and cost control
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider
- Experience running containerized workloads in production
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
Nice to have
- Experience with service meshes
- Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in St. Petersburg, FL is $105,000 – $134,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
