As a DevOps Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Rancho Cucamonga office.
What you’ll do
- Take part in an on-call rotation and lead incident reviews
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling and cost control
- Harden infrastructure and automate security patching
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that let teams ship safely several times a day
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills
- Experience running containerized workloads in production
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
Nice to have
- Experience with service meshes
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is $142,000 – $180,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
