Our New York office is growing, and we need a DevOps Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our New York location.
What you’ll do
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Harden infrastructure and automate security patching
- Take part in an on-call rotation and lead incident reviews
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
Nice to have
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
- Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $153,000 – $194,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
