We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to join our software engineering team in Nashville. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a 9-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is on site at our Nashville location.
What you’ll do
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that let teams ship safely several times a day
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling and cost control
- Harden infrastructure and automate security patching
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience running containerized workloads in production
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider
Nice to have
- Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD)
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Nashville, TN is $67 – $82 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
