DevOps Engineer Intern

Our Glendale office is growing, and we need a DevOps Engineer Intern who can gain hands-on experience from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is on site at our Glendale location.
What you’ll do
- Harden infrastructure and automate security patching
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling and cost control
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that let teams ship safely several times a day
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
- Experience running containerized workloads in production
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider
Nice to have
- Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD)
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Glendale, CA is $39 – $45 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
