We are hiring a Data Engineer to join our data engineering team in Los Angeles. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Los Angeles office.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain batch and streaming pipelines into the data warehouse
- Work with stakeholders to turn reporting needs into data products
- Monitor data quality and fix pipeline failures quickly
- Model data in dbt so analysts and data scientists can rely on it
- Optimize warehouse cost and query performance
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with an orchestration tool such as Airflow or Dagster
- Experience with a cloud data warehouse
- Understanding of dimensional data modeling
Nice to have
- Experience with Spark or Flink
- Experience with data contracts or data observability tools
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $138,000 – $176,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
