Our Murfreesboro office is growing, and we need a Controls Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative electrical & computer engineering group and report to the electrical & computer engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Murfreesboro location.
What you’ll do
- Integrate robots, vision systems and safety devices
- Develop HMI and SCADA screens
- Commission equipment on site and train operators
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs for automated equipment
- Design control panels and electrical schematics
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Willingness to travel to job sites
- Experience programming Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs
- Ability to read electrical schematics
Nice to have
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 13849)
- Experience with FANUC or ABB robots
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Murfreesboro, TN is $82,000 – $104,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
