The employer is looking for a Controls Engineer in Louisville, KY. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced electrical & computer engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Louisville office.
What you’ll do
- Design control panels and electrical schematics
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs for automated equipment
- Develop HMI and SCADA screens
- Commission equipment on site and train operators
- Integrate robots, vision systems and safety devices
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Willingness to travel to job sites
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Commissioning experience
Nice to have
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 13849)
- Experience with FANUC or ABB robots
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Louisville, KY is $84,000 – $107,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
