We are hiring a Controls Engineer to join our electrical & computer engineering team in Athens. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Athens location.
What you’ll do
- Develop HMI and SCADA screens
- Commission equipment on site and train operators
- Integrate robots, vision systems and safety devices
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs for automated equipment
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Willingness to travel to job sites
- Experience programming Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs
Nice to have
- Experience with FANUC or ABB robots
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 13849)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Athens, GA is $83,000 – $106,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
