We are hiring a Civil Engineer to join our civil engineering team in Waco. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Waco office.
What you’ll do
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
- Support construction administration, including submittal review and site visits
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ability to manage several projects at once
- Strong technical writing skills
Nice to have
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Waco, TX is $89,000 – $113,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
