The employer is looking for a Civil Engineer in Pasadena, TX. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a 9-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is on site at our Pasadena location.
What you’ll do
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
- Support construction administration, including submittal review and site visits
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of local and state design standards
- Strong technical writing skills
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Nice to have
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Pasadena, TX is $56 – $69 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
