The employer is a structural engineering practice working on commercial, healthcare and higher-education buildings.
Our Eugene office is growing, and we need a Civil Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative civil engineering group and report to the civil engineering manager. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Eugene office.
What you’ll do
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
- Support construction administration, including submittal review and site visits
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to manage several projects at once
- Strong technical writing skills
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Eugene, OR is $59 – $72 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
