The employer is a construction manager and general contractor with a long record of complex builds.
The employer is looking for a Civil Engineer in Corpus Christi, TX. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is on site at our Corpus Christi location.
What you’ll do
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong technical writing skills
- Ability to manage several projects at once
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Nice to have
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Corpus Christi, TX is $53 – $65 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
