As a Civil Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the civil engineering team works. This position is based in Columbus, OH. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Columbus office.
What you’ll do
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of local and state design standards
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ability to manage several projects at once
Nice to have
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Columbus, OH is $85,000 – $109,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
