We are hiring a Civil Engineer to join our civil engineering team in Chicago. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Chicago location.
What you’ll do
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Support construction administration, including submittal review and site visits
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to manage several projects at once
- Working knowledge of local and state design standards
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Nice to have
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Chicago, IL is $86,000 – $109,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
