We are hiring a Civil Engineer to join our civil engineering team in Bakersfield. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Bakersfield office.
What you’ll do
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
- Support construction administration, including submittal review and site visits
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of local and state design standards
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong technical writing skills
Nice to have
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Bakersfield, CA is $102,000 – $130,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
