The employer is looking for a Chemical Engineer in Topeka, KS. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced chemical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Topeka location.
What you’ll do
- Size equipment and prepare process design packages
- Design and scale up chemical processes from pilot to production
- Take part in process hazard analyses
- Simulate processes in Aspen Plus
- Support capital projects through commissioning
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with process simulation software
- Understanding of process safety
- Strong analytical skills
Nice to have
- Pilot plant experience
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Topeka, KS is $86,000 – $110,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
