We are hiring a Chemical Engineer to join our chemical engineering team in New Braunfels. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a 9-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is on site at our New Braunfels location.
What you’ll do
- Take part in process hazard analyses
- Design and scale up chemical processes from pilot to production
- Size equipment and prepare process design packages
- Simulate processes in Aspen Plus
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of separations and reaction engineering
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of process safety
Nice to have
- PE license
- Pilot plant experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New Braunfels, TX is $60 – $74 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
