The employer is looking for a Chemical Engineer in Laredo, TX. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced chemical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Laredo office.
What you’ll do
- Simulate processes in Aspen Plus
- Take part in process hazard analyses
- Size equipment and prepare process design packages
- Support capital projects through commissioning
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of separations and reaction engineering
- Understanding of process safety
Nice to have
- Pilot plant experience
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Laredo, TX is $96,000 – $122,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
