We are hiring a Backend Engineer to join our software engineering team in Henderson. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Henderson location.
What you’ll do
- Improve test coverage and release safety for critical services
- Write design documents and weigh trade-offs with the wider engineering group
- Design and operate APIs and data pipelines that power customer-facing products
- Model data and tune queries for PostgreSQL and other data stores
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong understanding of relational data modeling
- Clear written communication for design reviews
- Experience operating services in a cloud environment
Nice to have
- Background in high-throughput or low-latency systems
- Experience with Kafka or other streaming platforms
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Henderson, NV is $114,000 – $146,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
