We are hiring an Associate Water Resources Engineer to join our civil engineering team in Brownsville. You will learn quickly and contribute on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Brownsville office.
What you’ll do
- Design water distribution, sewer and pump station improvements
- Support grant applications and regulatory submittals
- Model hydrology and hydraulics for flood control and stormwater projects
- Analyze data in GIS to support capital planning
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS or SWMM
- Understanding of hydraulics and hydrology
- Working GIS skills
Nice to have
- Experience with InfoWater or WaterGEMS
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Brownsville, TX is $65,000 – $83,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
