Associate Transportation Engineer

Our Gresham office is growing, and we need an Associate Transportation Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative civil engineering group and report to the civil engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Gresham location.
What you’ll do
- Design roadway, intersection and multimodal improvements
- Present findings at public meetings
- Prepare plans, specifications and estimates for DOT projects
- Perform traffic impact and signal timing studies in Synchro
- Design signing, striping and maintenance-of-traffic plans
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Strong written communication
- Experience with MicroStation/OpenRoads or Civil 3D
- Experience with traffic analysis software
Nice to have
- Experience on state DOT projects
- PE or PTOE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Gresham, OR is $70,000 – $89,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
