The employer is looking for an Associate Transportation Engineer in Aurora, CO. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Aurora location.
What you’ll do
- Design roadway, intersection and multimodal improvements
- Present findings at public meetings
- Prepare plans, specifications and estimates for DOT projects
- Perform traffic impact and signal timing studies in Synchro
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Knowledge of MUTCD and AASHTO standards
- Experience with MicroStation/OpenRoads or Civil 3D
- Experience with traffic analysis software
Nice to have
- Experience on state DOT projects
- PE or PTOE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Aurora, CO is $71,000 – $91,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
