Associate Systems Engineer

The employer is an avionics company developing flight displays and navigation systems.
Our Portland office is growing, and we need an Associate Systems Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative systems engineering group and report to the systems engineering manager. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is on site at our Portland location.
What you’ll do
- Lead technical reviews with customers and suppliers
- Develop and manage system and subsystem requirements
- Define interfaces and maintain interface control documents
- Build system models in SysML
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Ability to work across disciplines
- Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama
Nice to have
- INCOSE certification
- Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Portland, OR is $53 – $65 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
