The employer is a defense technology company developing sensors, communications and mission systems.
Our Chicago office is growing, and we need an Associate Systems Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative systems engineering group and report to the systems engineering manager. This is a 9-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Chicago office.
What you’ll do
- Lead technical reviews with customers and suppliers
- Define interfaces and maintain interface control documents
- Develop and manage system and subsystem requirements
- Plan and track verification and validation activities
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama
- Strong written communication
- Ability to work across disciplines
Nice to have
- Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler
- INCOSE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Chicago, IL is $51 – $62 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
