The employer is looking for an Associate Structural Engineer in Mesa, AZ. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Mesa office.
What you’ll do
- Prepare calculations and structural drawings coordinated in Revit
- Perform condition assessments of existing structures
- Build analysis models in RISA, ETABS or SAP2000
- Analyze and design steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures
- Review shop drawings and answer contractor RFIs
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Strong hand-calculation skills
- Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC and ACI codes
- Experience with structural analysis software
Nice to have
- PE or SE license
- Seismic design experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Mesa, AZ is $68,000 – $86,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
