As an Associate Structural Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the civil engineering team works. This position is based in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Los Angeles location.
What you’ll do
- Perform condition assessments of existing structures
- Analyze and design steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures
- Build analysis models in RISA, ETABS or SAP2000
- Prepare calculations and structural drawings coordinated in Revit
- Review shop drawings and answer contractor RFIs
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Strong hand-calculation skills
- Experience with structural analysis software
- Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC and ACI codes
Nice to have
- Seismic design experience
- PE or SE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $85,000 – $108,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
