We are hiring an Associate Structural Engineer to join our civil engineering team in Houston. You will learn quickly and contribute on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Houston location.
What you’ll do
- Build analysis models in RISA, ETABS or SAP2000
- Review shop drawings and answer contractor RFIs
- Perform condition assessments of existing structures
- Prepare calculations and structural drawings coordinated in Revit
- Analyze and design steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Clear communication with architects and contractors
- Experience with structural analysis software
- Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC and ACI codes
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in structural engineering
- Seismic design experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Houston, TX is $71,000 – $90,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
