The employer is looking for an Associate Software Engineer in Seattle, WA. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Seattle office.
What you’ll do
- Partner with product managers and designers to scope and estimate new work
- Mentor teammates and help raise the bar for code quality on the team
- Design, build and maintain services and features used by thousands of customers every day
- Automate repetitive build, test and release steps
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and software design principles
- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
- Professional experience shipping production software in at least one modern language
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $110,000 – $140,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
