Our Minneapolis office is growing, and we need an Associate Software Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Minneapolis location.
What you’ll do
- Mentor teammates and help raise the bar for code quality on the team
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, and write the follow-up that keeps them from recurring
- Improve performance, reliability and observability across the services you own
- Automate repetitive build, test and release steps
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
- Professional experience shipping production software in at least one modern language
- Comfort working with version control, code review and automated testing
Nice to have
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience building distributed systems or event-driven architectures
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Minneapolis, MN is $92,000 – $118,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
