As an Associate Software Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Bridgeport, CT. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Bridgeport location.
What you’ll do
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, and write the follow-up that keeps them from recurring
- Design, build and maintain services and features used by thousands of customers every day
- Contribute to technical design documents and architecture discussions
- Improve performance, reliability and observability across the services you own
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- Professional experience shipping production software in at least one modern language
- Comfort working with version control, code review and automated testing
- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
Nice to have
- Experience building distributed systems or event-driven architectures
- Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Bridgeport, CT is $92,000 – $118,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
