As an Associate Site Reliability Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Austin, TX. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Austin location.
What you’ll do
- Improve the observability stack: metrics, logs and traces
- Lead incident response and write blameless post-incident reviews
- Define service level objectives with product teams and track error budgets
- Build tooling that removes toil from operations work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with modern observability tooling
- Deep Linux and networking fundamentals
- Proficiency in Go, Python or a similar language
Nice to have
- Experience in a regulated or high-availability environment
- Experience with chaos engineering
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Austin, TX is $105,000 – $134,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
