As an Associate Security Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Indianapolis, IN. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Indianapolis office.
What you’ll do
- Support compliance work such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits
- Manage vulnerability scanning and drive remediation with engineering teams
- Harden cloud identity and access management
- Build detections and respond to security incidents
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field
- Experience in application, cloud or infrastructure security
- Scripting ability in Python or a similar language
- Experience with a SIEM or log analysis platform
Nice to have
- Experience with container security
- Security certifications such as OSCP, CISSP or GIAC
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Indianapolis, IN is $58 – $71 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
