The employer is looking for an Associate Quality Engineer in Portland, OR. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced industrial & manufacturing engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Portland location.
What you’ll do
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues
- Develop inspection plans and control plans
- Own corrective and preventive action (CAPA) investigations
- Support customer and third-party audits
- Monitor processes with statistical process control
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Strong documentation habits
- Working knowledge of SPC and measurement systems analysis
- Experience with ISO 9001 or a similar quality management system
Nice to have
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Experience with AS9100, IATF 16949 or ISO 13485
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Portland, OR is $65,000 – $83,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
