As an Associate QA Automation Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in San Diego, CA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our San Diego office.
What you’ll do
- Design and maintain automated UI and API test suites
- Report on quality metrics and release readiness
- Write test plans and test cases for new features
- Track, reproduce and triage defects with developers
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong attention to detail
- Programming ability in Python, Java or JavaScript
- Experience testing REST APIs
Nice to have
- ISTQB certification
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in San Diego, CA is $87,000 – $111,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
