As an Associate Power Systems Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the electrical & computer engineering team works. This position is based in St. Louis, MO. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our St. Louis location.
What you’ll do
- Perform load flow, short circuit and arc flash studies
- Design substation, distribution and protection systems
- Develop relay settings and coordination studies
- Prepare drawings and specifications for utility projects
- Support interconnection studies for renewable generation
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of NEC, IEEE and NERC standards
- Knowledge of protective relaying
Nice to have
- Experience with battery storage or solar interconnection
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in St. Louis, MO is $73,000 – $92,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
