As an Associate Power Systems Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the electrical & computer engineering team works. This position is based in Dallas, TX. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Dallas office.
What you’ll do
- Design substation, distribution and protection systems
- Support interconnection studies for renewable generation
- Prepare drawings and specifications for utility projects
- Develop relay settings and coordination studies
- Perform load flow, short circuit and arc flash studies
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of protective relaying
- Experience with ETAP, PSS/E or SKM
- Strong analytical skills
Nice to have
- PE license
- Experience with battery storage or solar interconnection
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Dallas, TX is $73,000 – $93,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
